Ayesha and Steph Curry welcomed little baby Canon W. Jack Curry into the world Monday, Ayesha Curry announced Wednesday on Instagram.
"My heart is FULL," she gushed. "God has been too good to us."
Golden State Warriors point guard Steph Curry chimed in with his own Instagram post, this one sounding more like a prayer.
"In this journey, on this quest ... protect me ... I'm bless!" he wrote.
The baby boy was born "earlier than we thought," Ayesha Curry said. She disclosed in April she was suffering from a rare pregnancy condition called hyperemesis gravidarum, or HG, that's often described as an extreme, 24/7 onslaught of nausea and vomiting that can last throughout the first trimester and, in many cases, the entire pregnancy.
It can cause weight loss at a time when mothers are supposed to be gaining weight, but it doesn't usually cause complications for the fetus. It's unclear if the condition resulted in the earlier-than-expected delivery.
But, Ayesha Curry said, "We couldn't be more excited and grateful."
Baby Canon joins his big sisters, Riley, 5, and Ryan Carson, 2.
