Ayda Field says she is beginning to have slightly awkward conversations with her young children over the wild past of their father, Robbie Williams.
The 41-year-old actress and her 46-year-old Take That star husband have four children together; seven-year-old daughter Theodora, five-year-old son Charlton, two-year-old daughter Colette, and three-month-old son Beau.
And although the young family are all still of primary school age or younger, it seems they are growing curious about the past of their rock star father.
Robbie has a long history of wild behaviour – including drug use and a string of past girlfriends and lovers.
Speaking to The Sun, Ayda says: “Teddy on a few occasions has seen Robbie in an old video and says, ‘Mum, did he date anyone before you?’
“I have to say, ‘Yes, Teddy he did’. She’s so clued up.
“She has no idea how promiscuous their daddy was before me.
“But we are going to have to discuss Daddy’s past, Daddy’s drugs, Daddy’s dating.
"I’m obviously going to be the angel in comparison, that’s fine by me.”
Meanwhile, Robbie has recently revealed he is abandoning his rock and pop roots for a whole new music sound for his next album – taking disco as his inspiration.
The star has revealed he has spent the lockdown recording 20 new songs in a “genre I haven’t touched before”.
He says: “I’ve been writing new songs. I’m very excited about the new songs – I’m in a new musical genre, a genre I haven’t really touched before.
“Not new taste-wise – it’s what I’m about.” He added he is “looking forward” to fans hearing his new direction.
