Axis Bank to revise credit card rules from August 28, 2026: Late payment fee, dynamic currency markup, reward point rule changes and more

Axis Bank is set to revise credit card rules for its cardholders from August 28, 2026. The changed rules include an increase in dynamic currency conversion markup, a revised late payment fee for credit card outstanding balances of over Rs 50,000, exclusion of reward points and cashback on spends made on bridge fees, road fees and tolls among other changes.

Here are the key changes for Axis Bank credit cardholders from August 28, 2026.

Dynamic currency conversion markup increased

Dynamic currency conversion is a financial service at international card terminals or ATMs that lets you pay in your home currency instead of the local currency.
