Awkward English

At the risk of sounding like a grammar pedant (I'm avoiding the N-word here), it irks me every time when I see awkward English copy in advertisement and publicity materials for products intended for the Thai market.

Mind you, I'm not the kind of person who goes about my day correcting less-than-perfect use of English by your average Somchai and Somying in casual and everyday context but when it's used in a professional or official context that's when I think it's fair game to critique. Here are a few for your edutainment.

I feel so welcoemed.
Not sure how artichoke is good for a lever. You crush the vegetable and rub it on the lever?
An innocent statement or a sentence from an incest novel?
So is the house expensive or not?
“Making” is the first of many things to correct within this copy found on an in-flight meal bag. Also, why it needs to be passive aggressive, telling me to enjoy the food and smile. What if I don’t like it? You’re not the boss of me!
Can I please have the ice cream minus the rodent?
This copy for a hi-so condo that I can’t afford with my life savings seems to forget about basic grammar and spelling. A noun after the word “every” should always be in singular form and thus, needs to be followed by the singular verb form. Also, you need only one “l” in privileged. It should have been, “Every detail reflects a privileged life.”
Above is another sentence from the same condo. You don’t need “for” after “celebrate”. You can just celebrate something without “for”. Prestige should be adjective “prestigious” as it obviously modifies “life”.
