Awkward Dancing On Ice fist bump blunder leaves viewers in tears of laughter

Dancing On Ice fans were in hysterics this evening as an attempted fist bump turned a bit awkward this evening.

As Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield announced who was up next, the camera cut to the rest of the celebrities in the green room.

This led ITV presenter Radzi Chinyanganya, 32, to turn to his partner for a fist bump - only she left him hanging in a bit of a cringey moment.

Fans flocked to Twitter to comment, with some joking that they were "crying".

One tweeted: "That fist bump went well #dancingonice."

While another quipped: "One thing I would never do is go for a fist bump or high five on live TV. You just end up looking a mug #dancingonice."

A third remarked: "Well, that was awkward - going for that fist bump and not have it back #dancingonice."

Radzi came in as a last minute replacement on the show after injured contestant Michael Barrymore was forced to pull out.

Speaking about taking part in the show, he said: "I am thrilled and privileged to be part of the Dancing On Ice 2020 cast. I am absolutely gutted for Michael, who is one of my all-time favourite TV presenters, and I wish him a speedy recovery.

"I’ve only got two weeks to get ready to ice skate in front of the nation so I’m looking forward to a Christmas and New Year filled with training on the ice!"
