'Awful' - Tottenham fans aren't happy with what Jose Mourinho has done against Leeds

Jose Mourinho has confirmed his starting XI to face Leeds United in the Premier League this afternoon and Tottenham fans have had their say.

Spurs have the opportunity to move within four points of leaders Liverpool with a win over Marcelo Bielsa's men in the early kick-off at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

And Mourinho has made two changes for the clash from the draw with Wolves with Toby Alderweireld coming in to replace Davinson Sanchez and Steven Bergwijn replacing Sergio Reguilon in a change of shape.

Spurs are going with a back four instead of a back five today, meaning Davies reverts to the left-back role with Eric Dier and Alderweireld at centre-back and Matt Doherty on the right.

Harry Winks and Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg occupy the middle of the park with Tanguy Ndombele just ahead. Son Heung-min and Bergwijn are left and right respectively with Harry Kane up top.

It's unclear why Sanchez misses out, though he is not on the bench, perhaps suggesting an injury issue, while Reguilon's omission appears to be tactical with the Spaniard starting from the bench, though it might have something to do with the fact he broke coronavirus rules by celebrating Christmas with teammates.

Joe Rodon is the back-up centre-back today with the likes of Dele Alli, Lucas Moura and Carlos Vinicius also on the bench, the latter pair returning from fitness issues of their own, while Gareth Bale and Giovani Lo Celso miss out with injury.

Spurs fans react to the team to face Leeds United (Twitter)

Spurs fans have been reacting on social media to the team news. Here is what a selection have had to say.

Leeds United are just three points behind Tottenham heading into this one, though they have played a game more. Still, Bielsa's men have been in fine form, beating strugglers West from 5-0 in a blistering display last time out.

The Yorkshire club have won three of their last four games, their form contrasting to that of Tottenham's with Mourinho's men not winning any of their last four league outings.
