'Awful' - Arsenal fans name who was most at fault for Tottenham equaliser

Arsenal are in north London derby action as they take on rivals Spurs at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

The game is an important one for both sides, and not just for the bragging rights in north London on Monday morning.

A win would take either side a step closer to playing European football next season.

The two teams currently sit in eighth and 10th position in the Premier League table with just one point separating them.

After a cagey start to the game, Arsenal took the advantage, with Alexandre Lacazette scoring a brilliant goal into the top corner from the edge of the area in the 16th minute.

However, the celebrations were cut short just three minutes later when Son Heung-min took advantage of a defensive mistake by the Gunners to pull Spurs level.

The Spurs forward latched onto a poor ball back to David Luiz from Sead Kolasinac, with Luiz flat-footed, Son made his way past the Brazilian before finishing past Emiliano Martinez to make it 1-1 before the 20th minute.

With their joy from Lacazette’s opener short-lived, Arsenal fans took to social media to point the finger as to who was to blame for the defensive mix-up.

Should the score stay the same, Arsenal would remain in eighth place in the league, while Tottenham would move to one position behind their rivals and into ninth.

Arsenal could have gone behind on the half an hour as Martinez did brilliantly to get a touch on Ben Davies’ long-range effort to divert it onto the bar.

With the game opening up, both teams will be looking to make the most of it in the remaining minutes in order to climb further up the table.
