It could have been Peak Canberra - green-coloured Kingsley's chicken to celebrate the Raiders being in the grand final against the Sydney Roosters.
A curiouser and curiouser Instagram post purporting to be from the Kingsley's account did show some green chicken in honour of the Raiders' big day, saying it would be on sale.
The caption on the Instagram post read: "No, your eyes aren't deceiving you, our chicken has gone green! We're getting right around our boys @raiderscanberra as they head to the @nrl grand final! Whilst we'd like to thank Roosters everywhere for their contributions to the Kingsley's Chicken product, our relationship with them has now become untenable."
It also said the chain's relationship with roosters had now become "untenable". LOL
That had some fans beating a path to Kingsley's to get their hands on some awesome chips and green chicken.
Sadly, Kingsley's says the green chicken is not true and ain't happening.
