The management of La Parrilla restaurant are delighted to have been given an 'excellent' rating by the Liverpool BID company.
The prize was awarded as part of the ‘Mystery Shop’ awards, where venues across the area were independently rated by a team of unknown diners.
Liverpool BID is an organisation set up to improve and develop the offering of local businesses across the city, to promote and represent retail, leisure, cultural and commercial companies.
Offering an outstanding and authentic Mexican food and service offering, the prize is a reflection of the hard work that goes into running two successful restaurants in Liverpool. The accolade is seen as a r eflection of front and back of house staff working in harmony to provide a great dining and drinking experience.
Two successful restaurants
La Parrilla opened its well known Bold Street restaurant in 2016, and following the huge success of the first venue, plans were made for the opening of the second restaurant. The pandemic period held this up, but the vision remained, and further investment into the city was made by the owners with the 2nd restaurant, located in a great spot on the massively popular area for food and drink lovers, Lark Lane, right on the edge of the beautiful Sefton Park, in 2021.
Many of those who’ve had the experience of dining, or drinking cocktails and enjoying the atmosphere at La Parrilla return time and time again for the quality and value of what is offered. Both restaurants are great for enjoying time with friends, family, workmates or an intimate date night.
Traditional, delicious Mexican food
The food is focused on traditional Mexican with tapas, a la carte and even early bird menus to choose from Sunday to Thursday, which offers great value. Many of its favourite dishes are those you'll know, from nachos, guacamole and salsa, to burritos and the famous La Parrilla fajitas, as well as amazing Mexican-style steaks, all served as spicy as the customer likes!
An extensive wine list and cold beers are a must for a meal at La Parrilla but the cocktail menu is one to behold, such treasures as the Mexican Sunset, Tequila Sunrise or the flaming Mexican are always very popular choices.
