He'll be talking all about it with journalist Maggie Barry during the Bookface Sip & Swap event, which will be held at Glaschu in the Royal Exchange Square, on January 28.
His latest detective novel hits all the Glasgow crime thriller tropes as Alan Parks delivers another satisfying slice of tartan noir.
The monthly event is a space for book lovers to get together, swap titles and take part in a Q&A with some of the UK's most popular authors.
Heather Suttie, the Sunday Mail books columnist and founder of Bookface, the online book group which has attracted 2400 members worldwide, said: “Having Alan as the guest author is a real privilege. Fans will have the chance to ask him questions about his crime thrillers, listen to their backstories and buy a signed copy of his latest and award-winning book May God Forgive.

"The swap element is hugely popular with avid readers as it gives them the opportunity to recycle books and pick up new ones from every genre, saving money and perhaps picking up titles the might not otherwise have chosen to read."
