Floral tributes are being left at the entrance to Wessex Water's Avonmouth treatment plant, the day after an explosion which killed four people.
The site, just off Kingsweston Lane, is still closed off, but people affected by the the tragedy have been leaving flowers and tributes at the police cordon this morning.
One tribute from a colleague of those who died, said simply: "Thinking of my workmates and good friend".
The shock in the community goes beyond Avonmouth this morning - workers at the Wessex Water plant came from all over Bristol.

The company reportedly informed employees of the tragedy and those who lost their lives last night in an email, and tributes have been coming in on social media for the four who lost their lives.
The blast happened on Thursday morning at around 11.20am as a large tank that converts waste into biogas exploded as men were working on it.
Three of those who died were Wessex Water employees and a fourth was a contractor. Another man was injured.
The church at Avonmouth was opened this morning for those who wanted to gather for private prayer.
Wessex Water is working with Health and Safety Executive in launching an investigation into the cause of the explosion.
Both the police and Bristol mayor, Marvin Rees, have confirmed there is no risk to public safety.
