Avon Fire and Rescue were called to a car fire in the early hours of this morning.
Patchway Fire Station issued a tweet with a photo this morning that reads: "Our firefighter in development getting stuck in last night on a car fire. Good work Nell. #firefamily #yesyoucan #fire #carfire #Bristol."
Avon Fire and Rescue have since issued this statement about the car fire.
"At 00:47, one crew from Patchway fire station were mobilised to reports of a car fire on Bowstreet Lane in Easter Compton.
"On arrival, one firefighter in breathing apparatus used one high pressure hose reel to extinguish the fire and small gear to make the scene safe.
"The cause is thought to be deliberate."
