Avon and Somerset Constabulary appeal for help after city centre assault

Avon and Somerset Constabulary want your help in identifying two people who they believe have some information concerning an assault in Bristol city centre.

The assault happened at 3.30am on 20 September in Bond Street.

A group which included a man and a woman were walking along the road, in the direction of Newfoundland, when there was a short altercation with another group of three people.

The woman victim was punched in the head and the male victim was hit over the head with a bottle, resulting in a number of cuts which required hospital treatment.

As the woman and her friends left the area, she was hit for a second time.

The police are keen for those pictured or anyone recognising them to get in contact.

If you have any information which could help, please contact the police here, or by calling 101, quoting reference 5219217436.
