Average house price in every area of Greater Manchester as property costs rise again

The property market is heavily influenced by the state of the economy, which means that house prices are constantly fluctuating. If you are looking to buy or sell a house any time soon, it is a good idea to keep track of how much homes are selling for in your local area.

According to Rightmove, house prices across the UK as a whole have increased in the last month, with the property portal reporting that average prices went up by £2,906 in March. Rightmove says that across all property types, the average price coming to the market was £365,357 last month.

Using the latest data from HM Land Registry, we have listed the average house price in every area of Greater Manchester to show what a home typically cost to buy in each of the region's 10 boroughs.
