Looks like we have a new Marvel heroine on the way.
According to information via Reddit, Stranger Things star Millie Bobby Brown will debut as Piper, a member of The Eternals, in the much-anticipated Avengers: Endgame before a major role in The Eternals movie.
One user noted from the rumoured 4Chan source that "the character is a powerful and mischievous psychic who is permanently trapped in the body of a child, and will allegedly make an appearance in AVENGERS: ENDGAME, where Brown was spotted on set."
The thread states that Piper is a gender-bent version of the Marvel Comics character Sprite, and is "strong and charismatic, with a magnetic personality. Wise beyond her years, athletic, articulate and quick-witted."
As always, take this with a pinch of salt, considering the source of the information, but the thread also revealed rumours of further castings and roles.
As previously reported, Angelina Jolie will join the film The Eternals, here they state she will be Elysius, an Eternal who is "a wise historian".

The posts also state that Priyanka Chopra is in talks for the lead female role of Sersi, "a fierce explorer with psychic abilities who wishes to live among the humans.", and will likely be joined by prospective James Bond and Outlander star Sam Heughan as lead male and the romantic partner of Sersi known as Ikaris, "a powerful warrior fueled by cosmic energy and sworn to protect the Eternals."
In addition, reportedly leading gay superhero role Hercules is still touted to be played by Luke Evans, while it is rumoured that Keanu Reeves is up for the villainous role of Druig, "a merciless conquerer" after a scheduling conflict prevented him playing Yonn-Rogg in Captain Marvel before Jude Law took on the role.
Gina Rodriguez is also a reported favourite for human archaeologist and Eternals ally Margo Damien, while Skins star Jack O'Connell is apparently linked to the role of "adventurous" Eternal and brother to Avengers villain Thanos, Starfox.
This would be some line-up!
As always, considering the sources of these rumours it is best to take these with a pinch of salt.
But we don't have long to find out if Brown does appear!
