Everyone wants their Marvel fix!
The leading British cinema chain ODEON has found Avengers: Endgame to be a record-breaker.
ODEON – the UK & Ireland’s largest cinema chain – has revealed that its cinema teams are preparing for a takeover of Marvel film buffs later this April for the highly-anticipated culmination of the first age of the Marvel Cinematic Universe– with the cinema seeing its fastest-ever selling tickets.
With an average of 30 tickets being sold every 10 seconds by ODEON Cinemas on the first day tickets were available – the upcoming film is now the chain’s fastest pre-selling film of all time, ahead of Star Wars: The Force Awakens and its sequel Star Wars: The Last Jedi.

Chris Bates, Commercial Director at ODEON UK & Ireland said: “We can’t wait to host thousands of Marvel fans for the opening weekend. We are going all out to make the arrival of this new film an incredible cinematic experience – and are urging fans to pre-book their tickets for Avengers: Endgame to avoid disappointment!”
The end of Avengers: Infinity War saw the villain known as Thanos ( Josh Brolin ) decimate half of the universe's population will a click of his fingers thanks to the Infinity Stones, with many high-flying Avengers losing their lives in the process.
In Avengers: Endgame, the aftermath will see the remaining heroes scrambling to figure out what they do next.
Can Thanos' evil actions be undone? Or will they be forced to avenge the fallen?
Avengers: Endgame is released in UK cinemas on April 25, 2019.
