Los Angeles was alight with celebrities and superheroes on Monday evening to mark the world premiere for Avengers: Endgame.
The film is the 22nd addition to the ever-expanding Marvel Cinematic Universe and is largely based on its comic book superheroes.
Like its predecessors, Avengers: Endgame sees multiple characters from the franchise's productions unite, creating an ensemble cast that has fans buzzing with anticipation.
Robert Downey Jr, Scarlett Johansson, Brie Larson, Chris Evans and Paul Rudd were just some of the actors in attendance at the glitzy premiere, which took place at the city’s Convention Centre.

Larson – who starred in the studio’s first female-led superhero flick, Captain Marvel – coordinated her outfit for the occasion by wearing a lilac gown that happened to neatly match the event's purple carpet.
Elsewhere, Johansson, who plays Black Widow in the film, injected a dose of classic Hollywood glamour in a strapless glittering gold gown.
Avengers: Endgame will be released in UK cinemas on 25 April.
