The Marvel Cinematic Universe comes to a huge climax in Avengers Endgame and fans are both hyped and apprehensive about seeing some of their favourite heroes duke it out one last time.
However, the latest box office projections suggest any anxiety won't stop fans from seeing the film and it looks set to break some more records!
After already breaking box office records with pre-sales before the film's release, it is now expected that the film will pass the $1 billion at the Global Box Office in its first week.
The film has already made $100 million in its first 12 hours in the China market, where it has now opened, according to China Box Office.
Avengers Endgame review: Game over for Marvel's competition
Avengers Endgame was filmed back-to-back with the preceding Avengers: Infinity War, which saw the villainous Thanos (Josh Brolin) succeed in wiping out half of the universe's population.
The new film sees the survivors - including Iron Man (Robert Downey Jr.), Captain America (Chris Evans) and Black Widow (Scarlett Johansson) - scrambling with how to react to the traumatic events.
Perhaps help from Captain Marvel (Brie Larson) and Ant-Man (Paul Rudd) could help them succeed?
Star Chris Evans has already revealed that we should expect some big emotions when watching - with he himself admitting to crying six times throughout watching.
Avengers: Endgame is released in UK cinemas on April 25, 2019, at midnight.
