One of the most anticipated movies of this generation is finally in cinemas.
Avengers Endgame brings an end to the first age of the Marvel Cinematic Universe as the founding members of the Avengers - including Iron Man, Captain America, Thor, Black Widow - tackle the wreckage that is the universe after Thanos obtained all of the Infinity Stones in Avengers: Infinity War.
Events prove emotional, epic and astounding - and for some fans it was just too much.
According to The International News, one fan in China was so moved by the experience that it led to a medical crisis.
Twenty-one-year-old Xiaoli from Ningbo, China, cried so much during her screening of Avengers:Endgame that she was having breathing issues and hyperventilating.
The fan was hospitalised and given oxygen to get her breathing back to normal.
Avengers: Endgame features first openly gay character in MCU

It was reported that the doctor who treated her said: "I saw that the patient had been breathing heavily, and according to the description from her peers, we thought that her crying had caused ‘hyperventilation’. We immediately gave her oxygen and relaxed her emotions by appeasement, reducing her hyperventilation symptoms."
Xiaoli isn't the only one to be emotionally moved by the film, as star Chris Evans who plays Captain America revealed he cried six times whilst watching the latest Marvel film.
The dramatic events were actually foreshadowed long before the instalment in Avengers: Age of Ultron.
