Avengers Endgame: Captain Marvel star Brie Larson reveals ideal Thanos death

How exactly do you bring down a Mad Titan with a bunch of Infinity Stones?

Fans are waiting with bated breath to see how Earth's Mightiest Heroes will bring down Thanos (Josh Brolin) in the much anticipated Avengers: Endgame and one to keep an eye on is Captain Marvel (Brie Larson).

The post-credits scene of Avengers: Infinity War saw Nick Fury send a distress signal to his old comrade, but what exactly does the heroine have lined up for the villainous Thanos?

Appearing on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert, the Oscar-winning Larson revealed her ideal method for bringing Thanos down: "Compassion".

The actress was joking, of course, revealing her next ideal plan: "No. I'm going to punch him into the sun."

That's certainly one way to do it!

Avengers Endgame: Why Captain Marvel has a new look for new film

Brie Larson as Carol Danvers (Marvel)

It definitely beats all the joke theories of Ant-Man destroying Thanos by travelling up his backside!

Carol Danvers looks set to quickly ingratiate herself with her fellow survivors of Thanos' decimation, including founding Avengers members Iron Man, Captain America, Black Widow, Hulk, and Thor - the last of whom definitely took a shine to her in the latest trailers.

You'll have to keep your guard up to avoid spoilers, however, as footage from the film was recently leaked online, prompting directors Anthony and Joe Russo to ask that fans do not spoil the film for those not wishing to know what happens.

Watch out!

Avengers: Endgame is released in UK cinemas on April 25, 2019.
