Nine people have been killed by a landslide that destroyed a bridge in the mountainous northern Indian state of Himachal Pradesh.
Indo-Tibetan Border Police rushed to Badseri village in the Kinnaur district after the avalanche on Sunday.
Local media said the people who were killed were visiting from the Indian capital Delhi and elsewhere in India, while one of the injured was a local.
Footage showed the rockslide collapsing the Badseri bridge and the devastating aftermath.
"All arrangements are being made for the treatment of those injured in the accident."
In the western state of Maharashtra, at least 125 people have died in the last two days after torrential monsoon rains sparked major landslides and flooding there.
India's meteorological department has warned of further downpours over the next few days.
Flooding and landslides are common during India's treacherous monsoon season, which also often sees poorly constructed buildings buckle after days of non-stop rain.
