It's a sure sign that autumn is on the way - Starbucks is set to launch its Pumpkin Spice Latte later this month.
The annual unveiling of the drink is usually a signal that summer is over - and although there is no confirmation from Starbucks - rumour has it that the beverage will be available before too long.
It contains a combination of Starbucks Espresso Roast coffee, pumpkin pie flavoured sauce and steamed milk, topped with whipped cream and pumpkin pie spices – cinnamon, nutmeg and cloves.
The pumpkin spice latte - or PSL - is available in more than 50 countries and it's annual appearance is a big event in the USA.
The launch is a little more restrained in this country.
However, Starbucks advertising has a very autumnal feel with images of falling leaves, while the drink even has its own Twitter account, The Guardian reports.
Starbucks' Peter Dukes says: “Pumpkin Spice Latte has become more than just a beverage. It has become a harbinger of the season.”
