AutoFull M6 Ultra 2.0 review: A gaming cockpit with endless adjustability and slightly overtuned armrests

Among gaming peripherals, chairs are often the most controversial ones. A common suggestion is to opt for a quality office chair over a gaming chair. However, that mainly applies to low-quality gaming chairs, which is the complete opposite of the AutoFull M6 Ultra 2.0.

The AutoFull M6 Ultra 2.0 is a true esports chair, featured at CS2 2026 IEM Cologne Major. It’s the first ergonomic chair with cooling, heating, and massage features, and can be adjusted in a dozen ways to maintain your posture. With plenty of features, it’s also priced at a significant $899.99.

A quality chair is still crucial if you spend a lot of time at your desk. Otherwise, you might end up with bad posture and back pain, and that’s no way to dominate lobbies. If you’re cautious about splashing $899.99 on a chair, here’s our review of the AutoFull M6 Ultra 2.0.

Can almost skip the tutorial (assembly)

Assembling the chair is straightforward. There’s a manual, but also a QR code to a video if that works better for you. Most of the screws are pre-installed, so you only need to remove them, install the part (like the armrest), and then screw them back in.

The build feels premium (as it should), with a mix of mesh and breathable leather that keeps the seat cool. The foam ergocloud head pillow is comfortable and aims to support you during long sessions, whether working or grinding VALORANT.

Even the chair can do a 360 (adjustability and use)

The AutoFull M6 Ultra 2.0 has as many adjustability options as you might need. You can adjust the headrest, seat height, and seat recline. The armrest is the most customizable, though it might be even too customizable.

You can move the armrest around 720 degrees, lift it up and down, rotate the entire armrest or just the top pad, and tilt it up and down. Despite incremental settings, the armrests move quite freely, which also means that if I lean into them a bit too much, they instantly get displaced, and setting them back to the perfect angle can be annoying.

The best part of the chair is the dynamic lumbar support. It’s a part of the back that moves with you and helps maintain straight posture. It even helped ease the back pain caused by my not-so-good posture with the old chair.

When you set the recline straight and get into the chair, it feels like you’re in the cockpit of a racing car. But you can easily make it more relaxing by leaning back and pulling out the leg pillow from under the chair.

Keep calm and stay cool (cooling, heating, and massage)

It’s the first chair to have cooling, heating, and massage, all in one. There are four features you can use with the buttons on the right side: lumbar massager, seat massager, seat heater, and seat cooler, each with three settings.

The chair should always be connected to a 5V2A adapter (a regular charger) via a USB cable to use these features, though. This isn’t a dealbreaker, but as someone who’s constantly afraid of running over the power cord and potentially damaging it, I tend to plug it in only when needed, which has just resulted in me barely using them at all.

When I did use them, my favorite was the lumbar massager, which can synchronize with the seat massager when both are enabled. The cooling fans aren’t particularly strong, but are good enough to keep you chill. Comparably, the heater is stronger and is bound to be helpful on colder days.

Verdict

The AutoFull M6 Ultra 2.0 is a quality premium gaming chair that you can fully adjust to your needs. From height to head pillow and seat recline, everything is adjustable. The cooling, heating, and massage features are more of a nice bonus, though, than the main reason to get the chair.

Arguably the biggest downside of the chair is its armrests. Because of the armrests’ design, they barely ever stay in one place, at times making them outright irritating to use. A lot of it depends on how you sit, but I think most gamers will run into this issue eventually.

Ultimately, an expensive chair like this should be towards the bottom of the priority list when putting together a setup. However, if you want to invest in a chair to keep your back (and head) up when gaming, and like the sound of a massage, the AutoFull M6 Ultra 2.0 is a fantastic choice.
