After an international tour with the Australian Youth Orchestra, Sir Mark Elder will conduct the 109 young musicians for a final concert in Melbourne. The orchestra will perform Mahler’s monumental Symphony No.6, an enchantingly beautiful masterpiece of triumph, tragedy and passion, as well as Debussy’s influential and masterful, La mer.
