An Australian woman is marching over 1,000km up the length of Ireland "to show that everyone can overcome challenges in their life".
Roz Warne, 59, embarked on a gruelling journey earlier this month and has travelled over 400km so far.
The proud mum took off on her journey from Castletownbere, Co Cork, and is travelling through Tipperary, Galway, Leitrim and Cavan before she finishes her journey in Ballycastle, Co Antrim in Northern Ireland.
Warne has updated followers on social media about her adventure with stories of the "kindness and helpfulness" of the Irish people she has met.
She told IrishMirror.ie: “I have a trekking business for women back in Australia. It’s all about empowering women to get out of their comfort zones.
"I wanted to show my son who has anxiety and addiction problems that you can do anything that you set your mind to.
"I have met so many incredible Irish people along the way who cannot do enough to help me."
Roz believes that by putting herself out of her comfort zone by traversing fields, forests, mountains, bog roads and empty country roads she can empower women to believe they can do anything they put their minds to.
