Geoffrey Edelsten, millionaire businessman and former husband of Melbourne socialite Brynne Edelsten, has been found dead in his Melbourne apartment.
On Friday, Victoria Police confirmed that Edelsten’s body was found at his St Kilda Road apartment.
Geoffrey Edelsten (78) is famous for being the former owner of the Sydney Swans football club and Allied Health GP superclinics. He was also well known for marrying Brynne Edelsten (38), who he later divorced in 2014 to marry Gabi Grecko (30) who he divorced five months later in 2015.
In 1988, Edelsten was taken off the NSW medical register and was also later jailed for paying a hitman to assault a former partner.
He also featured in his own reality show series with Brynne Edelsten titled My Bedazzled Life, which ran from 2012 until the couple divorced.
Police are not treating his death as suspicious, and will prepare a report for the coroner.
