Moguls skier Matt Graham has become only the second Australian to win two medals at an FIS world championships.

The three-time Winter Olympian won bronze in the dual moguls at Bakuriani, Georgia after his silver two days ago in the moguls.

Australian Dale Begg-Smith won gold and silver at the 2007 worlds in Italy.

It is Graham's fourth medal at a worlds and he has now been on the podium at the last three editions, held every two years.

The dual moguls will make their Olympics debut in 2026 at Milano-Cortina, Italy.

Graham lost his semi-final to Swedish Olympic gold medallist Walter Wallberg, then beat Pavel Kolmakov of Kazakhstan with a score of 20-15 for the bronze medal.

Canadian Mikel Kingsbury beat Wallberg for the gold.

"To go back-to-back in any World Cup or world championships is awesome, and now we have the opportunity to do it at the Olympics, in three years' time assuming I am there - that's what I will be chasing," said the 28-year-old from the NSW Central Coast.

"It felt pretty exhausting to be honest. There are a lot of runs in duals and the intensity was so high, and it's been a long week with three training days and two competition days.

"At the top I was just trying to psych myself up and get the legs firing each run and just happy to make it down and get through all the rounds and come away with a bronze medal."

Compatriot Cooper Woods finished ninth, with George Murphy 14th and Jackson Harvey 19th.
