Australia has been drawn in a tough group with Rafael Nadal's Spain as well as Greece in the ATP Cup starting early next month.
A dozen countries, including Australia who will be spearheaded by Alex de Minaur, will compete in the men's team tournament from February 1-5.
Spain made it through to the final of the event last year but were beaten by Serbia, with second-ranked Nadal squaring off against world No.1 Novak Djokovic.
Greece have world No.6 Stefan Tsitsipas leading their charge in Group B.
World No.23 de Minaur leads the local line-up that made the semi-finals last year.
He will be joined by John Millman, John Peers and Luke Saville, with Nick Kyrgios not taking part.
The inaugural event was played last year in Brisbane, Perth and Sydney however due to coronavirus the entire tournament will be played at Melbourne Park leading into the Australia Open, which starts February 8.
The 12 teams have been divided into four groups of three for group stage, round-robin play.
The four group winners will advance to the semi-finals.
Champions Serbia have drawn Germany and Canada in Group A.
Qualification for the 2021 ATP Cup is based on the ATP ranking of each country's top-ranked singles player, while Australia qualifies as hosts.
Group A: Serbia, Germany, Canada.
Group B: Spain, Greece, Australia.
Group C: Austria, Italy, France.
Group D: Russia, Argentina, Japan.
