Australia's wheelchair 3x3 basketballers have dominated their play-in games to set up a potential sweep of the Commonwealth Games gold medals.

Australia will be the only country with semi-finalists in all four 3x3 competitions on day six, with the medals to be decided on Thursday morning (AEST).

After the Gangurru men and women had won through, on day five it was the turn of the Wombats in their wheelchair matches.

First Eithen Leard top-scored with eight points as the wheelchair men dispatched Wales 21-6 early on Wednesday morning (AEST).

Then Georgia Munro-Cook also scored eight as the women similarly were too good for Nigeria with a 19-2 win.

Luke Pople is the one member of the Wombat wheelchair men's team from Birmingham who is playing for his second Games gold medal.

The Gangurru women have come to Glasgow in red-hot form, having won silver for the first time at the 3x3 World Cup.

The Australian men and the two wheelchair teams will all play Scotland in their semis, while the Gangurru women must beat Jamaica for a shot at gold.
