Australia's Westpac Banking Corp appoints new CIO

(Reuters) - Australia's Westpac Banking Corp <WBC.AX> on Thursday said it had appointed Craig Bright as chief information officer, replacing Dave Curran who will retire in January next year.

Curran had been chief information officer since 2014, the company said in a statement.
