Australia's Santos Ltd plans to shut down one of its production trains at its Queensland-based Gladstone Liquefied Natural Gas (GLNG) project in January, according to a notice on the Australia Energy Market Operator (AEMO) website.
One train will be offline during Jan. 2-7 for scheduled maintenance, the notice https://www.aemo.com.au/-/media/files/gas/natural_gas_services_bulletin_board/site-content/gbb-documents/notices/lng-information/lng-maintenance_20210102-0107_glng.pdf stated. The plant's two production trains have combined nameplate capacity of 7.8 million tonnes per annum (mtpa) on Curtis Island.
Santos is the operator of GLNG with a 30% stake. Its co-owners are Malaysia's Petronas, France's Total SA and Korea Gas Corp (KOGAS).
