MELBOURNE (Reuters) - Australian port operator Pilbara Ports said on Wednesday it has reopened the Port of Dampier, which mostly ships iron ore from Rio Tinto, after it was closed ahead of a cyclone that made landfall over the weekend.
"Pilbara Ports Authority has re-opened the Port of Dampier on 27 March 2019 from 0600 (AWST) and normal operations have resumed," the company said in a statement.
"Total Port of Dampier closure was 132 hours," it said.
