(Reuters) - Australia's Origin Energy Ltd <ORG.AX> on Wednesday reported a 26 percent increase in second-quarter revenue, helped by increased LNG sales and higher average prices realized.

The power and gas retailer said revenue for the quarter ended Dec. 31 rose to A$686.3 million from A$544.3 million a year earlier.

Second-quarter sales climbed 8 percent to 88.9 petajoule equivalent (PJe), with production up 4 percent to 83.5 PJe, Origin said in statement.
