“Demand for health and care-related roles has grown steadily for many years as Australians become more health-conscious, particularly as the large, ageing baby boomer generation demands more care, and as the NDIS has expanded,” Seek’s senior economist Blair Chapman said in a statement.

Chapman also spotlighted that due to ongoing large infrastructure projects, only delivery and truck drivers remain in demand.

“While demand for truck drivers is highest in the capital cities, there are also pockets of high demand in the regions, especially in Queensland and WA,” Chapman adds.

Looking at this delectable list of in-demand roles, it appears that a wide range of industries are fanging for some fresh talent (which could be you)!

Of course, a majority of roles on the list require credentials, skills and experience. However, Seek does provide a rundown on what you need to fulfil the role on its site. At least this is a cheeky start on where you can get your foot in the door, amirite?

But hey, if you’re after a career in a creative industry, then our very own Pedestrian JOBS is the best place to find your next dream gig.
