SYDNEY (Reuters) - Australian job advertisements in newspapers and on the internet rose in May as the country's jobs market looked set to stabilise after a wobble last month.

A survey by Australia and New Zealand Banking Group <ANZ.AX> out on Monday showed total job advertisements rose 1.5 percent in May, from April when they dipped 0.2 percent. The annual growth pace was 11.5 percent.

"Despite somewhat mixed employment reports this year, we remain of the view that Australia’s labour market will remain solid through 2018," ANZ Head of Australian Economics David Plank said in a statement.
