SYDNEY (Reuters) - Australian government spending for consumption rose 0.2 percent in the third quarter to an inflation-adjusted A$81.68 billion ($62.19 billion), the Australian Bureau of Statistics reported on Tuesday.

Investment spending by the government and public enterprises fell 7.5 percent to A$22.15 billion, reversing part of a sharp jump the previous quarter.

The data will feed into the gross domestic product (GDP) report for the September quarter due on Wednesday.
