Aussie workers heading back to the office

The number of Australian workers heading back to their city offices is steadily increasing. (AAP)

A survey by the Property Council of Australia comparing CBD office occupancy in September and October has found all city markets except Melbourne are seeing increases.

ADELAIDE:

* September - 67 per cent

* October - 73 per cent

BRISBANE:

* September - 52 per cent

* October - 61 per cent

CANBERRA:

* September - 46 per cent

* October - 63 per cent

DARWIN:

* September - 70 per cent

* October - 73 per cent

HOBART:

* September - 78 per cent

* October - 79 per cent

MELBOURNE:

* September - 7 per cent

* October - 8 per cent

PERTH:

* September - 63 per cent

* October - 77 per cent

SYDNEY:

* September - 35 per cent

* October - 40 per cent

Survey results are based on responses from 102 Property Council members who collectively own or manage the majority of CBD office buildings in Australia.
