Aussie hunk Aaron Waters is once again searching for romance on Love Island – and he hopes to bag a Manchester lass.
Model Aaron was a standout star in 2021 when he was runner-up in the Aussie series of the show.
But his relationship hit the rocks three months later and tonight, he starts looking for love again in our version.
And the 25-year-old, who has flown into South Africa from Down Under, is eager to be on the show and say g’day to the girls in the villa.
He particularly cannot wait to date a Northern girl – and said he would even move to England to follow his heart.
“I honestly feel like a lot of the UK girls are very articulate and hold themselves very well,” he said.
“Some of the accents are so hot. I can’t remember exactly but I think it’s the Manchester accent.”
Aaron will struggle to find a Manc girl at the moment – the only northerner in the villa being biomedical science student Tanya Mahenga, 22, from Liverpool.
She is one of six beautiful ladies who could turn his head. As well as Tanya, there’s Lana Jenkins, 25, Anna-May Robey, 20, Tanyel Revan, 26, Olivia Hawkins, 27, and Zara Deniz Lackenby-Brown, 25.
Aaron, from Melbourne, said: “I can’t wait to [date a UK girl]. I’d sway more to the side of moving to the UK but if we got really serious and were going strong it would also be cool to take her to Australia.”
The future looked bright for Aaron in 2021 when he and Jess Velkovski, 24, coupled up Down Under.
Speaking about their break-up, Aaron said: “It was well over a year ago. Our connection wasn’t as strong as people thought and it never got that far, unfortunately.”
Aaron insists his intentions are good and he wants love, not fame and money, from the show.
The winter series of Love Island returned earlier this month, hosted by Maya Jama, 28, who placed Laura Whitmore, 37.
