In celebration of National Yorkshire Pudding Day, Aunt Bessie’s is giving away free treats at the UK’s first Yorkshire Pudding Festival.
Taking place at Kirkgate Market in Leeds City Centre on Saturday, the festival's attendees will have the chance to pick up complimentary Aunt Bessie’s Golden Yorkshires, accompanied by an Aunt Bessie’s Mini Roastie, with lashings of gravy.
The giveaway comes as the UK celebrates National Yorkshire Pudding day on Sunday 2 February.
Aunt Bessie’s produces a bag of Yorkshire puddings every 1.2 seconds which adds up to an extraordinary 639,095,954 million Yorkshire puddings each year – if lined up that would be enough to stretch once around the world.

With the help of Chief Yorkshire Pudding Guru David Barr, who has been working for the business for 26 years, the factory inspects the quality of every single Yorkshire pudding produced to ensure only the very best end up on the nation’s plates.
Any baked Yorkshire puddings that don’t make the cut are repurposed for animal feed, meaning that nothing goes to waste.
David Barr, Aunt Bessie’s Chief Yorkshire Pudding Guru, said: “Having worked at the factory for almost three decades, I’ve tasted thousands of Yorkshire puddings and it’s great to see the nation continuing to celebrate our beloved Yorkshires each year.

"We’re proud to be supporting the UK’s first Yorkshire Pudding Festival and we wanted to celebrate National Yorkshire Pudding day by treating Brits the best way we know how – free Yorkshires on us!”
Aunt Bessie’s food stall will be pitched in the outdoor area of Kirkgate Market from 10am – 5pm on Saturday 1 February.
