August Bank holiday 2021 Irish Supermarket opening hours for Tesco, Lidl, Aldi, Supervalu and Dunnes

The August bank holiday weekend has arrived in Ireland and many shops will be operating with different opening hours.

We've compiled the information on Ireland's main supermarkets to help you with your shopping and make sure you know the changes.

Some places will simply operate Sunday hours on the bank holiday Monday while others will have complete changes.

Here's the opening times for Irish supermarkets on the August bank holiday.

Tesco

Tesco opening hours change depending on each individual store. Usually, bank holiday hours are the same as an average Monday.

For example, Tesco in Phibsboro, Co Dublin opens from 8am- 10pm on Saturday, 9am - 9pm on Sunday and 9am - 8pm on Bank Holiday Monday.

Aldi

Aldi stores will open as normal from 9am-10pm on the August bank holiday Monday.

For example, Aldi on the Headford Road in Galway will be open from 9am - 9pm on Saturday, 9am to 9pm on Sunday and 9am –10am.

Lidl operates with opening hours of 9am to 9pm on bank holidays.

Dunnes Stores
