August Alsina says he warned Jada Pinkett-Smith he was going to expose their 'affair'

August Alsina has insisted he warned Jada Pinkett-Smith he was about to “out” their affair before sharing his explosive interview where he accused the star and her husband of having an open relationship.

The 27-year-old American singer set social media ablaze this week when he sensationally claimed to have enjoyed a years long romance with 48-year-old Jada – and that her 51-year-old husband Will had given his blessing to the romance.

The claims provoked a swift rebuttal from Jada – whose publicist blasted the claims as “absolutely not true” when they broke on Tuesday.

Now the singer has doubled down on his claims – saying he pre-warned his alleged lover that he was about to expose their affair.

In a lengthy post via Instagram, August stood by his original claims.

He said: “A tower of truth can never fall, only a tower of lies can do that. My truth is MY truth, & its mine to own.

“There is no right or wrong here, it simply just IS. & I make room and have acceptance for your thoughts and opinions, regardless if I agree or not, you have that freedom to feel WHATEVER it is u feel because when you’re at TRUE peace, all of the noise and chatter becomes that of a whisper.

“My heart has no malice or hate toward anyone on this planet. I just simply want the chains off & I’m willing to DIE getting there.

“The gift of freedom is yours to have, God promises us that, but only if you’re willing. &God is not a man that HE should lie.. & I’m His SON, so neither would I."

He went on to claim he had not blindsided Jada and Will – claiming he warned them in advance of his revelations being made public.

He wrote: "No one was sideswiped by any conversation, everyone got courtesy calls time in advance. Wishing Everyone Big Love!"

Jada has signalled she will share her version of events in an upcoming edition of her popular online talk show, Red Table Talk.

She announced on Twitter on Thursday: "There’s some healing that needs to happen…so I’m bringing myself to The Red Table."
