August Alsina reportedly met Jada Pinkett Smith through her son Jaden, amid claims she had an affair with the singer.
Jada, 48, and her husband Will, 51, have been forced to deny that she had an extramarital fling with August with the actor's blessing.
August, 27, claims he was in love with Jada, 48, and they had a lengthy affair with Will's permission.
It's been said that August met Will's wife through their son Jaden Smith, 21, in 2015.
The singer made the claims about his relationship with Jada in a YouTube interview DJ Angela Yee.
He said: "I totally gave myself to that relationship for years of my life, and I truly and really, really, deeply loved and have a ton of love for her."
Jada's representatives told the New York Post that Alsina's claims are "absolutely not true."
August added about the alleged relationship: "I devoted myself to it. I gave my full self to it. So much so that I can die right now, and be OK knowing that I fully gave myself to somebody...
"Some people never get that in this lifetime."
The singer, who is well known in the US, said in the interview that he does not want to stir drama.
"Contrary to what some people may believe, I'm not a troublemaker. I don't like drama. Drama actually makes me nauseous," he explained.
Rumours of a romance between August and Jada swirled after the singer's 2019 song Nunya received a text message from "Koren" which is Jada's middle name - in the music video
But he has previously denied that the song was about Jada.
Meanwhile, the couple's daughter Willow Smith has broken her silence amid the rumours about her parents.
She shared a cryptic post on Instagram featuring a Hare Krishna teaching about how your parents can affect you.
