Audio: Tim Archer, Conservative candidate for Poplar and Limehouse on housing, Docklands and multiculturalism

He's the Tower Hamlets Councillor for Blackwall and Cubitt Town and Conservative candidate for a distinctive marginal East London seat. He wore a pair of silver cuff-links featuring discreetly engraved union flags. You wouldn't catch me wearing those, but that doesn't make him a bad person. We talked mostly about housing and regeneration, which he regards as one of the constituency's three big issues along with crime and education.

Footnote: During the interview I made one small and entirely deliberate mistake. If you spot it, for heaven's sake don't point it out.
