BBC One is back with its newest psychological thriller Chloe.
Episode one of six aired on Sunday (February 6) at 9pm, but viewers were all left saying the same thing: "What?"
It seems the new drama needs a lot of attention and patience as many have been left baffled by the first instalment.
A synopsis of the new show reads: "Becky compares herself to the picture-perfect lives on Instagram, compulsively returning to one account: Chloe's.
"Becky obsessively watches her seemingly flawless life through social media. But when Chloe dies suddenly, Becky's need to find out how and why leads her to assume a new identity and engineer a 'chance' meeting with Chloe’s best friend, Livia, and infiltrate Chloe's group of close-knit friends."
It sounds simple enough, but viewers are thus far in the dark about where the new programme is going.
The audience flocked to social media both during and after the show to see if they were alone in their confusion.
One woman wrote: "#chloe… anyone? No idea what’s happening."
Another tweeted: "Chloe I have no clue what’s going on!"
While the show trended on Twitter last night, it's evident it was mainly viewers looking for someone to explain what was going on.
One man wrote: "This #Chloe is brain blasting….still trying to figure out wtf is going on….hopefully all will become clear…mind you, I do like a nutter!"
One thing was clear however, people would be tuning back in for Monday's episode hoping it would bring more answers than questions.
