Before the holidays, pupils at Auchencairn Primary had a lovely few days celebrating Easter and spring.
The pupils enjoyed decorating eggs and head teacher Mrs McDevitt had a very hard job choosing the winners in each class.
After much thought the winners were Angus, Tom and George in P1 to P3; Calli, Alba, Lottie and Rosie in P4 to P7.
A few days later, after the partnership assembly with friends from Borgue Primary, the P7 pupils hid chocolate eggs all around the school grounds.
At the end of the day all pupils were given a chocolate egg which had been very kindly donated by Tesco in Castle Douglas.
