A new star-studded WR for the Rams

Colorado State received some good news this week leading up to the Toledo game when head coach Mike Bobo announced that Auburn transfer Nate Craig-Myers is eligible this week.

“Nate’s been an awesome teammate,” Bobo said. “He’s done a good job learning our offense. The first two weeks of the season he did scout team. This past week, when we knew he was going to be eligible for this week, he came down and repped some with the offense. He’s in a good position. He’ll be ready to go.”

The former four-star wide receiver was rated as the No. 6 player overall in Florida and the No. 6 receiver in the nation in the 2016 recruiting class by 247Sports.

Craig-Myers is eligible now as he played three games for Auburn last year and thus had to sit out a full year. With the Tigers, he 22 passes for 394 yards and four touchdowns in 15 career games.

Having him to an already solid wide receiving group is a bonus to this Colorado State team and should help out whoever is playing quarterback for the Rams this week since there is not yet information on the severity of Collin Hill’s injury.

The number of reps that Craig-Myers will see on Saturday vs. Toledo is unknown but with the depth of Dante Wright and Warren Jackson, the Rams can ease him into the lineup.
