Auburn loses to LSU on heartbreaking walk-off after catcher couldn’t find the ball

This might be one of the craziest walk-off wins I’ve seen in a baseball game in quite some time.

And it might be one of the most heartbreaking, too.

Because what happened at the end of the LSU-Auburn elimination game at the SEC tournament on Thursday was absolutely wild.

It started with Auburn’s catcher being unable to find the ball after a wild pitch bounced off him and rolled to the right of him.

That allowed the game-tying run to score.

But then a wild throw on trying to get that guy out led for the winning run to come racing in.

That wasn’t good for Auburn.
