Arsenal are back in action on Sunday when they make the trip to the north east to face strugglers Newcastle United.
The Gunners could perhaps be forgiven for having their focus on Thursday's Europa League semi-final second leg with Villarreal having lost 2-1 in the first leg, and with European qualification only realistically possible through that competition.
But there are still five Premier League games to be completed, and Mikel Arteta will want his men to get some wind in their sails heading into Thursday's big night.
Ahead of the trip to Newcastle, Arsenal stayed in the Valencian region to train ahead of flying straight to the north east, and below we have rounded up what we spotted from the session.
Aubameyang takes part
On Thursday night, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang returned to action after his spell out with malaria, but he was only fit enough to make a late cameo off the bench.
Gunners fans will be hoping the Gabon international can return to start in the second leg as Arsenal look to overcome their 2-1 deficit.
And it seems Aubameyang will be in contention, perhaps even to start against Newcastle United on Sunday, appearing to take full part in the session in Valencia.
David Luiz also trained having only been fit enough to be on the bench last time out.
Partey the goalkeeper
Thomas Partey didn't have his best game against Villarreal, with the Yellows largely winning the battle in midfield, despite a late resurgence from the Gunners.

So maybe he can reinvent himself as a goalkeeper? The midfielder was all smiles as he stood between the sticks and attempted to second guess where shots would go, pointing to the shot-takers.
Thankfully, the £45million summer signing is likely to return to midfield in time for the Gunners to take on the Magpies on Sunday.
Balogun in contention
Arsenal fans were left shocked when promising young forward Folarin Balogun was left out of not only the starting XI but the matchday squad against Villarreal.
Arteta went without a striker and didn't even name Balogun, who recently agreed a new contract, on the bench.
That was despite some suggestions he could be in for a surprise start in the absence of Aubameyang and Lacazette.
Fans will be hoping Balogun doesn't continue to be left out over the coming weeks, and it was good to see the 19-year-old putting in the miles in Valencia, featuring prominently in the session with strong intensity as he staked his claim to his manager.
