We've all been there - waiting at the airport baggage reclaim area for ages for our suitcases to come by.
Whether we're on our holiday or making our way back home, we're all keen to just grab our bags and head out of the airport.
But getting our luggage back isn't always a simple process.
Sometimes it means standing at the carousel for a long time, watching as everyone else's suitcases glide past.
You may end up worrying that the bags ended up on the wrong flight and were sent somewhere else instead.
But many travellers aren't aware that there is a way to ease the wait and the worry.
You can give your suitcase a better chance of coming out first by asking for a 'fragile' label from check-in staff and putting it on your luggage.
According to news.com.au any bags with a fragile tag go on the plane last and therefore come out and on to the belt first.
But the site advises leaving your address off any tags so that opportunist burglars don't find out you're away from home.
Another way to get your bags first is to check in last, it says.
Thomas Lo Sciuto, a ramp worker and gate agent at a regional airport in the US, reckons this means your bag is loaded onto the plane last.
He said: "Bags will always be loaded front to back on the bag carts, so if you check in last your bags will be in the last bag cart."
And in case you're worried about leaving your check-in so late, there is an app called TripIt that enables you to plan your airport visit and check the queues before you've even got there.
It only works with some US airports at present but will be rolled out across more locations in future.
