Police have named an attempted murder suspect after a man was stabbed in Chester.
Cheshire police officers charged the 26-year-old after a 38-year-old man was stabbed on August 11, last year. Lewis Frawley, from Ellesmere Port, will appear in court on Friday, September 23.
Frawley was originally arrested after allegedly stabbing the victim at the Leadworks Park, on Leadworks Lane. After the attack, the victim was left with serious injuries, with his condition described as critical.

He was taken to the Countess of Chester Hospital for treatment and has since made a full recovery. Four others have been charged in connection with the incident.
They are Harvey Orme, 18, from Hyde, Connor Bishop, 20, from Chester, Zac Murphy, 24, from Birkenhead, and Marley Thomas, 22, from Liverpool. They have all been charged with assisting an offender All five men are set to appear at Chester Magistrates’ Court, on Friday.
